Job Summary: Responsible for the directing the activities of trauma division in collaboration with Chief of Trauma and VP, Trauma and Burn Service Line, including oversight of performance improvement, injury prevention programs, and continuing trauma education. Directs activities of trauma registry assuring accurate and timely submission of registry data to the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation. Oversees institutional compliance with PTSF standards for trauma center accreditation, and coordinates trauma center accreditation process. Involved in the development and implementation of collaborative trauma relationships with partnering hospitals. Minimum Requirements: Master of Science Degree in Nursing or a Bachelors Degree with equivalent years of experience. A minimum of 5 years prior experience in the field of trauma or emergency nursing. Preferred Qualifications: RN Licensure and Certifications: Current RN Licensure by Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. Certification in Emergency Nursing or Critical Care Nursing. Certification in Nursing Administration.
