Geisinger Health System is seeking an experienced RN to serve as Trauma Operations Manager at Geisinger Medical Center, located in Danville, Pa. JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for overseeing the operations of the adult and pediatric trauma program for Geisinger Medical Center. Ensures the service line goals are aligned with the organization's broader mission, vision, and driving strategies. Works in partnership with both the adult and pediatric Trauma Physician leadership and Trauma Program Personnel to ensure compliance with the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation Standards for Accreditation. Directly accountable to the Operations Director of Surgical Services, monthly reporting to GMC Nursing Leadership. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent with a current Pennsylvania RN license required. MSN preferred. Trauma Nurse Course, ACLS and specialty certification required. Minimum of three years' experience in emergency or critical care nursing with comparable intensity to Geisinger Medical Center required. Minimum 6 years leadership experience required leading a department in a healthcare environment required. Leadership experience required in a comprehensive medical center or in an integrated health system preferred.
